Integration with ADP

Connect integrates with ADP Workforce Now® and ADP TotalSource® to send new hire data from Cornerstone Recruiting to ADP. Once enabled, the Cornerstone Recruiting & Onboarding Connector API will move new hire worker records (hired via the Cornerstone ATS) to ADP to create a worker record in ADP Workforce Now. How we use AI

  • Cornerstone Companion is a generative AI-powered assistant, purpose-built for talent development to help build plans, access knowledge, curate, and build targeted content collections and create job descriptions faster. It gives both employees and admins a new way to interact with Cornerstone, helps enhance their productivity in the flow of work, and guides them through their talent development journey.

    Cornerstone has used AI in many places in its products, primarily as a means of powering recommendation engines for content, skills and opportunities. Cornerstone uses its significant dataset of customer usage and market data to provide accurate and meaningful recommendations in moments that matter. A few examples of how it’s used in Cornerstone Recruiting & Onboarding include:

  • Opportunity Marketplace: Users are suggested opportunities (roles, vacancies, gigs, mentors) based not only on their own self-identified goals, but also on market data housed in the Skills Graph. For example, our market data knows that people with “Job ABC” often move next into “Job XYZ” after a certain number of years and will therefore suggest such an opportunity as those conditions are all met.

    Skills Graph: Cornerstone provides skill suggestions based on the employee’s profile, including work history, job title, learning completions, and more. These recommendations can be found in the skills profile, Check-Ins, Performance Reviews, etc.

    Labor Market Data & Job Architecture: This data is used to build skills and job-based recommendations for customers to enable workforce agility transformations. It also generates text for job requisitions.

  • Cornerstone Companion manifests in our products in a variety of ways. Users and admins will interact with Companion through the following:

    Content Creation: In the flow of existing processes, AI is used to bolster creativity and productivity by assisting with writing, content selection, or other tasks. For example, an admin would use Companion to fill out content metadata in Cornerstone Learning.

    Chat Functionality: As a dedicated, separate experience, Cornerstone Companion uses a chat-based interface (similar to ChatGPT) to let users and admins interact with Cornerstone using natural language prompts. This experience will not only answer questions but will also provide proactive suggestions for next steps, allow for follow-up queries and explanations, and more.

  • Foundational Data + Large Language Model (LLM): Our foundational AI layer leverages a combination of proprietary Cornerstone data alongside best-of-breed LLM offerings in the market — it is not a white-labeled product, it is uniquely Cornerstone’s.

    In developing this foundational layer, we started with establishing a talent- and learning-oriented AI foundation. This platform leverages best-of-breed large language models (LLMs) alongside our multiple decades’ worth of experience and data around talent and learning. Our platform is meant to be LLM-agnostic, which means that we can leverage any external LLMs and can change them in and out as required to deliver the highest-quality outputs for customers.
