SureMileage is a completely cloud-based, automated solution that accurately verifies employee mileage and manages the entire reimbursement process.
Rather than verifying the miles that were driven, SureMileage uses point-to-point calculation. Employees report their starting point and destination, and the system calculates the driving distance between them. This automated mileage tracking virtually eliminates the inflated estimates commonly seen with odometer readings, and it makes it easy for employers to avoid inadvertently reimbursing employees for personal mileage.

Our data encryption protocols include split knowledge and dual-control passwords, table-level encryption, password rotation management, log file encryption, and privileged user protection. We adhere to regulatory guidelines such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, FISMA for encryption of data at rest, maintaining PCI certification and secure offsite key management.
Our secure facilities and equipment further underscore our commitment to data security. Primary servers are hosted and managed at Rackspace’s data centers, with AWS’s data centers hosting synchronized servers, both offering 24/7 management and monitoring. These centers are SSAE 16/ISAE 320 certified, with daily backups, and utilize firewalls and 256-bit encryption SSL to prevent unauthorized system access. Secure servers running RedHat Linux are regularly updated with security patches.
In terms of privacy, CompanyMileage ensures client address books can be segregated by individual users, departments, or divisions, with options to suppress client names on reports.
