How we use AI

• EasyLlama uses generative AI models to generate audio, video, and images at our discretion and where applicable, such as audio in training videos and instruction narrations, and to assist users via chatbots. All outputs are heavily inspected and vetted by multiple layers of human quality assurance before release or integration into any product or course. EasyLlama’s use of AI is not a factor in any decision-making or recommendation process that could impact someone’s employment.

  AI and Content
  In the event that EasyLlama provides content or answers that are generated by AI (e.g., as in a chatbot interface), we would appropriately label that product or service to indicate the use of AI. At this time, all of our course content is fully created by humans.
  
  While AI tools might be used to streamline some of the processes during course creation, such as labeling and helping sift through data, all content provided by EasyLlama (and the research behind it) is created and quality-assured by professionals and subject matter experts. This also includes any media assets (images, audio, video) that may have been created with the assistance of any third-party generative AI model. EasyLlama has multiple human and technical layers of quality assurance for all provided content and products.

  At this time, more specific use cases of AI in our products include the following:
  
  AI and Media Assets: When appropriate, EasyLlama uses generative AI models to help create, edit, label, and describe illustrations, footage, and audio for our course materials and products.
  
  AI and Chatbots: EasyLlama might also use customized AI assistants to help provide answers to users based on our course content or technical assistance.
  
  AI and Data: EasyLlama might also use AI models for data filtering algorithms in user-facing products, such as an AI-powered search engine.

  Protection of Client Data
  EasyLlama does not share client data with any third-party AI tool or product. If such a feature is needed for a product, EasyLlama will adequately inform clients how their data will be used.

  EasyLlama’s Commitment to Ethical AI Use
  At EasyLlama, we are actively constructing best practices and guidelines to ensure that our AI-assisted generated outputs (including audio) align with the best ethical principles and help human creators whenever possible—as our golden rule—while recognizing this is an ever-evolving field that requires research and active attention.
  
  For example, as one of our guidelines for AI audio generation, we try to ensure (whenever possible) to source AI marketplace voices that have been authorized to us by real human creators, where the costs of each audio generation support human creators, and these creators have control of how their voices are used and priced. In other words, EasyLlama’s approach to AI is primarily people-centered as a golden rule, where AI and machine learning technologies are tools to streamline processes that are ultimately owned by human creators and professionals.
