Free for Employers
Tapcheck is offered at no cost and is risk-free for employers to pilot and implement. We fund all early wage withdrawals so there are no changes to cash flow. In addition, our deep integrations avoid changes to your processes and additional burdens for your staff.
This app is for current-version ADP RUN customers who are ready to initiate the bi-directional data exchange with Tapcheck. Learn more about Tapcheck’s services and solutions by visiting the Tapcheck On-Demand Pay Benefit listing.
Free Options for Employees
Free earned wage access (EWA) transfer options may be available to employees who use the optional Tapcheck Mastercard. Employees can also choose to transfer funds to a third-party account for a nominal fee.
Better Employee Adoption because of High Precision Payouts
Our payroll and time and labor management integrations use more data to calculate a precise accrued net wage amount from which EWA withdrawal limits are based. This provides more accuracy than platforms that use gross wage estimates or algorithms instead of time data. As a result, Tapcheck has improved balance availability, higher withdrawal balances, lower effective fees, lower probability of overdraft, and equal accessibility for new and tenured employees. These collectively drive employee adoption that is often twice the industry average of 10%-15%—and better adoption equates to better business impact!
Strengthen Employee well-being, Morale, and Productivity
When employees can access their wages early and as needed, they gain greater financial stability, resulting in increased productivity, higher attendance, better engagement, and overall job satisfaction. Research from the Georgetown Journal reports that 89% of EWA users feel more productive at work and 74% had fewer unplanned absences. Offering Tapcheck as an on-demand pay benefit reduces employee stress by helping them cover financial needs while avoiding overdraft fees, high-interest loans, and predatory payday loans.
Improve Recruiting
How well is your company positioned to attract young talent? According to
ADP’s study, 76% of all employees say it’s important for their employer to offer on-demand pay and 75% of millennials say that availability of EWA would influence their acceptance of a job offer. Nearly all employers (96%) that offer earned wage access as an employee benefit, report it helping to attract talent.
Increase Retention, Reduce HR Costs, and Boost Business Profitability
Employees are willing to leave a job for one that offers EWA. Visa’s research shows that 79% of employees are more willing to switch to an employer that already offers on-demand pay, and 89% would work longer for a company that has EWA.
ADP’s study states that 93% of employers credit EWA with helping to retain employees. By giving employees 24/7 access to their earnings, employers can improve retention, avoid the high cost of replacing staff members, and strengthen overall business profitability.
Comprehensive Financial Wellness
Tapcheck is more than a high-precision EWA solution, but a full-service financial wellness platform that offers free financial tools and education to employees, the option to use our convenient payroll card program, and ability for employers to make off-cycle pay disbursements.
High Precision Earned Wage Access Payouts
What sets Tapcheck apart from other solutions is that we use more data from RUN Powered by ADP® and over 100 third-party time and labor management systems with which we integrate. This allows us to provide improved balance availability, higher withdrawal amounts, lower probability of overdraft, and equal accessibility for new and tenured employees.
With our precise EWA calculations, employees can take larger withdrawals for the same flat transfer fee, equating to lower effective fees versus other platforms.
* This gives a simple, reliable, and user-friendly experience for employers and employees alike and drives the highest employee adoption and business impact.
*Relevant only when EWA transfers fees apply; not applicable to free transfers.
Payroll-based Recovery
The total amount an employee transfers in a pay period will be automatically deducted from their next paycheck via a payroll-based deduction. Employees can see this deduction on their pay stub and in the Tapcheck app, while employers can view it in ADP's payroll register and the Tapcheck admin dashboard. This creates a clear reconciliation process compared to other solutions that recover funds outside of payroll, which often creates confusion and perceived inaccuracies for both employees and employers.
Disburse Money Outside of Normal Pay Cycles
Tapcheck offers a simple, quick, flexible, and cost-effective way for employers to disburse payments to employees outside of normal pay cycles. The most common examples of disbursements are final paychecks, spot bonuses, tips, and payroll corrections.
With Tapcheck’s payment Disbursements feature, employers can:
