easy to operate 401(k) solution for folks with zero knowledge about 401(k)
The communication from Guideline has always been pretty darn clear. Whether I am contacting them for support or just reading through the informational emails they send me, I ALWAYS feel more confident and settled that our program is compliant and that there is nothing to worry about, than I did with our previous provider. I am primarily a bookkeeper with some admin and HR heaped on my plate due to the small size of the business I work for, and I have enjoyed that I can work with Guideline without having to become an expert in a whole other field.
Guideline is a great tool to administrate 401ks
I like that it is simple to use and onboarding/offboarding is very simple. It is also easy to integrate with Gusto

It's easy. I've never had a hiccup with them in the ~4 years I have used them. Nice clean portal, easy to go in and manage my own account. Or when i want to manage the whole plan, I easily click to switch to administrator view, and get the reports I need. I use the concierge service so i get the full comparability profit sharing plan, and working with my dedicated rep makes it easy... but honestly i only engage with them once a year.

Don't know much about the service yet
We are new to the product. I don't have a lot of feedback to offer. We set it up at onboarding and it's been running in the background. Seems to be fine but I have not looked into it.

It is so easy to use. Simple. Allowed me to easily offer 401k match to my employees.

It is user friendly to login into and manage changes. It works seemlessly with quickbooks.
Disappointed
I like signing up as a small business, but the simple change of a phone number to access my Account has proved a horrible experience!
Guideline - Very Easy To Use, and Very Functional
Easy of use - it integrates into my payroll platform, Gusto. I just need to hire staff in Gusto and Guideline automatically picks them up. Then the ongoing checks get fed into Guideline. There is a good choice of funds too.dfzx

I have skipped payroll twice this year and both times someone reached out to make sure the system picked it up correctly. Great customer service.
