As an ADP TotalSource® client, you now have the option to purchase General Ledger Interface (GLI) as an additional feature on your ADP platform. The GLI feature will allow clients to categorize payments made to ADP TotalSource for employment services. As your Professional Employer Organization, Federal payroll taxes are filed under our FEIN on behalf of our clients, we can now also provide a detailed breakdown of those payroll taxes, along with the fees for services. Clients can then download that information into their accounting package.

GLI creates an “import-ready” journal entry or general ledger (G/L) file by matching client payroll data against a chart of accounts map created in the format required by the client’s financial accounting software. The G/L file is then imported into the accounting software, e.g., Intuit® QuickBooks® Desktop or Online, Sage50 Accounting (formerly Peachtree®), and other popular financial packages. Read less
