Commitment to Responsible AI

Together with ADP Marketplace, our company is committed to the responsible use of AI. When incorporating AI into our product(s), we have agreed to comply with ADP Marketplace’s AI principles focused on human oversight, monitoring, privacy, explainability, transparency, and mitigating bias. Learn more here.

How we use AI

  • CompAnalyst uses AI to help make your compensation workflows easier. For example, it can:
    - Suggest salary ranges for roles based on trusted market data.
    - Recommend similar job matches within your organization.
    - Generate draft job descriptions aligned with market norms.
    - Flag potential pay issues, like out-of-range salaries.

The AI looks at large volumes of anonymized, structured compensation data to surface insights that might otherwise be missed — all while staying focused on accuracy and fairness.

Built to Support Human Decision-Makers

  • CompAnalyst Plus does not make employment decisions, and it should never be the only tool used when making decisions about hiring, firing, promotions, or job assignments. Instead, its recommendations are meant to support HR and business leaders in making informed decisions based on consistent, data-driven insights.

Here’s how it works:

  • - What it learns from: We train our models using Salary.com’s proprietary compensation data and structured job content. The data does not include personal identifiers like name, gender, race, age, or address.
    - How it's monitored: Our systems are regularly tested and monitored for accuracy and fairness. This includes reviewing patterns that could indicate unintended bias.
    - Why it matters: Compensation is sensitive and impactful. We take responsibility seriously. Our goal is to support transparency and reduce inconsistencies, not to replace human judgment.

  • We do not claim to eliminate bias — no AI system can. But we designed CompAnalyst to reduce overreliance on outdated data and subjective decision-making, helping your team move forward with greater confidence.
