Integration with ADP

Pinpoint integrates with ADP Workforce Now® and ADP TotalSource®, making it easy to add new hires to ADP. After you subscribe to Pinpoint, we’ll instruct you on next steps to purchase the data connector to integrate your data.

Once you’re integrated, you can hire a candidate in Pinpoint and automatically push their data to your instance of ADP Workforce Now.

How we use AI

  • Pinpoint uses AI to support specific recruiting tasks that involve large volumes of data or repetitive coordination. Our tools can analyze candidate information, summarize inputs like interview feedback, check candidates against defined job criteria, and surface relevant context within the hiring workflow. These capabilities are designed to help recruiters and hiring managers by preparing information and suggestions, while all evaluation and hiring decisions remain the responsibility of humans.

Our AI features include

  • Candidate Companion: A chatbot that helps everyone who visits your careers site find answers, explore roles, and move smoothly into an application, 24/7
  • Candidate Summaries: Summarizes interview feedback so hiring managers and recruiters can understand it quickly
  • Candidate Match Score: Use prompts to turn yes/no checks against job criteria into a clear score that shows how well each candidate matches the role.
  • Resume Redaction: Redacts personal details that could reveal a candidate’s demographic information and helps reduce bias during early review
  • Hiring Copilot: An agentic AI assistant built into every candidate record. It retrieves the context you need, prepares the right next step, and waits for your approval before anything happens.

Humans make the decisions, not AI

  • AI must never be the final decision-maker. Hiring decisions remain with the recruitment team. All AI-driven insights are transparent, auditable, and fully explainable.

    AI in Pinpoint does not automatically make any decisions. We believe there should always be a human in the loop.

    We will never allow AI to act autonomously. All final decisions are made by recruiters and hiring managers—humans remain in the loop.

How we build AI

  • All AI features use commercially available models via API. We work exclusively with OpenAI for large language models (LLMs). For resume parsing and redaction, we use Affinda.

    Customer data is used as input context to AI models at inference time to achieve the feature’s purpose (for example, analyzing a CV for job criteria scoring). However, this data is not stored by the provider or used for training. Your data is never used to train, finetune, or improve any global, shared, or vendor-owned models.

    OpenAI maintains SOC 2 Type II certification. Affinda is both SOC2 Type II and ISO27001 certified. Pinpoint is ISO 42001 certified.

Testing and security

  • Before any AI feature ships:
    •Hundreds of test cases run through the system
    •Responses are evaluated against expected outcomes
    •Edge cases and failure modes are explicitly tested
    •Prompt versions are compared systematically

    We actively test for malicious and unintended misuse scenarios. OpenAI’s Moderation API screens for harmful content. All requests are authenticated within a specific tenant (for example, JWT tokens with company_id claims prevent cross-tenant access). We ensure prompts include only the data required for LLMs to perform the task at hand.

Customer control

  • All AI features are explicitly opt-in and never enabled by default. Each Pinpoint tenant has granular settings to enable or disable each AI feature independently.

    Access to configurable AI features can be restricted based on user permissions. In these cases, there are distinct permissions for configuring vs viewing the output of the AI feature.

    Client data is your data. We do not allow any third parties to use client data for training.
